February 18 | Madame de Salzmann and the Gurdjieff Movements

Mr. Gurdjieff often described himself as a “teacher of dancing.” The Movements are an intrinsic and unique part of the Fourth Way, preserved by Jeanne de Salzmann and taught internationally to this day. They challenge our assumptions about our capacity to pay attention, about what is possible, about our own self-image. In this rare footage, de Salzmann offers a window into the process of the Movements.

This evening includes an experiential portion, in which participants are invited to taste the inner process of self-observation while practicing movement.

Where is my attention?
